Terms of Use
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These terms are the rules for using the Wedgey app and this website. By using Wedgey, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Wedgey.
Who we are
Wedgey is run by Anmol Singh in Texas, USA. Contact us at hello@wedgey.app.
Using the app
- You must be at least 13 to use Wedgey. If you are under 18, get a parent or guardian's OK first.
- Wedgey gives you golf lessons, an AI golf coach called Wedgey AI, and My Game, a log for your shots.
- Wedgey AI makes an anonymous account for you. It lives on your phone. If you delete the app without using "Delete my data" first, you can't get back into your old chats. You can still ask us to delete them, and they are deleted automatically after 12 months with no activity.
The AI coach can be wrong
Wedgey AI is an AI golf coach. It is not a golf pro, a doctor or a trainer. Its answers can be wrong, out of date or not right for you. Use your own judgment. For anything about pain, injury or your health, talk to a doctor or a physical therapist. Wedgey AI does not give medical advice.
Golf is a sport. Play safe.
- Warm up before you swing hard.
- Look around before every swing. Make sure nobody is close by or in front of you.
- Yell "Fore!" if your ball is heading toward someone.
- Get off the course when there is lightning.
- Stop if something hurts, and check with a doctor before starting if you have a health condition.
You are responsible for how you practice and play.
Subscriptions
Wedgey may offer paid plans. If you buy one:
- It is sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play, and their terms apply to the payment.
- The price and what you get are shown before you buy.
- Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- You manage and cancel your plan in your Apple or Google account settings, not in Wedgey.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. We can't give refunds directly.
- If a plan comes with a free trial, it turns into a paid plan when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
If you use an iPhone
If you got Wedgey from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard license agreement applies along with these terms. These terms are between you and Wedgey, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or for support. If something in these terms doesn't match Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement wins for the parts it covers.
Don't misuse Wedgey
Please don't:
- try to get around the daily limits or flood the coach with messages,
- try to trick Wedgey AI into ignoring its rules or talking about things that aren't golf,
- use Wedgey to harass anyone, or to make or share anything illegal, hateful or sexual,
- copy, scrape or resell Wedgey's lessons or art,
- or try to break into, take apart or slow down the app or our servers.
If you do, we can block your access.
Your stuff and our stuff
The messages you send are yours. You let us store them and send them to our AI provider so we can run Wedgey AI, as described in our Privacy Policy. The Wedgey name, mascots, lessons, art and app are ours. You can use them in the app for your own practice, but not for anything else without asking.
Changes and ending the service
We can change, add or remove features, change these terms, or stop Wedgey altogether. If we make a big change to these terms, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app. If you keep using Wedgey after a change, you accept the new terms.
No warranties
Wedgey is provided "as is". We work hard on it, but we don't promise it will always work, be free of mistakes, or make you a better golfer. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of fitness for a purpose and of not breaking anyone's rights.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Wedgey and the people behind it are not liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages, or for any injury, lost data or lost money from using the app. Our total liability for anything to do with Wedgey is limited to the larger of what you paid us in the last 12 months or 50 US dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Texas law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
